My name is Sasha A.M.M. Guzman, one M standing for Marie, a name that I am proud of. I have been taking piano lessons since I was 4 years old. I have had a variety of great piano teachers in these last 13 years. This year I am continuing my lessons to prepare myself for college which I am stepped into this Fall semester at EVCC in the program Running Start.
I love to play the piano. It relaxes me helps me to unwind after a long day. I practice many different forms of music and love to perform for church, friends and family. I find music to be one of the most beautiful gifts in my life. I am striving to better improve this gift that I have been given by studying different composers and forms of music.
I enjoy teaching piano because I love to watch when my students start to take the music off the page into a whole new level by making the piano truly sing. I watch their personalities come out as they accomplish each new challenge. It is amazing to watch as they gain the appreciation and understanding of the beauty and power of music as it grows within them.
This year will be exciting and challenging for all of us as we go on this journey together and discover how to 'Play Your Little Heart Out'. I look forward to working with you!
